When Betsy purchased “Bliss” from Tim and Marty Shea as a yearling, it was one of those moments that horse enthusiasts never forget. Her presence, attitude and style made the hair stand up on Betsy’s neck. Later, her show career lived up to the potential she seemed to know she had as a youngster. Her career as a Country English horse garnered Regional and National awards at the highest levels.

Bliss’s sire, IXL Noble Express, is sired by the Multi-National Champion Park stallion MHR Nobility (with two crosses to the famed Polish stallion Witraz through Celebes and *Bask), while his dam was the beautiful Scottsdale Champion English Pleasure mare RY Fire Ghazi. IXL Noble Express+ is the sire of 116 National winners almost all of them in English competition.


Bliss is a full blood sister to multi National Champion, Inception. Both sired by IXL Noble Express while their dams, Bonita Afire and Brandi Afire are full sisters. The grand dam of Bliss, Bacharah (by Barbary+++), produced 9 National winners or producers of National winners.


With her incredible family line, we have high expectations of Bliss’s ability to produce champion offspring and are anxiously keeping our eyes on her progeny currently in the show barn and up & coming list.
